Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment. We also accept bank transfer. If this option is choosen we will send you our bank account details immediately. If payment is by cheque, please allow 4 working days for clearance.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Laser. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet. Credit card details are via an SSL site and are totally secure.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the rare case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Note Micro Aid shall not be liable for any technical or editorial errors or omissions. Prices subject to change due to price fluctuation. Many prices on our site are subject to price promotion which may be withdrawn without notice by Micro Aid. Your order and price will be confirmed to you by us if we are able to source the product at the price quoted.

Shipping And Handling Shipping costs: There are three options:
1./ Standard €6.95 per order+vat (two to three working days) - via Fastway Courier.
2./ Overnight courier service €12.50 + vat. This covers most parts of Ireland.
However, there are a few remote areas where this service can take two working days. Orders must be placed before 3:45pm to avail of this service.
3./ Collection - free of charge.

Delivery Schedule We will normally send your order to shipping within 1 business day. Fastway Couriers usually takes 1 business day from date of shipping - €6.95+vat anywhere in the Republic of Ireland - hence this is a 2-day service. A special overnight courier service is available for only €12.50 +vat. Orders must be placed before 3:45pm to avail of this service. You may also collect free of charge from us. Orders must first be placed and collection time agreed; normally 1 to 2 working days.
WEEE Registration Number: Our number is:- 00883. The prices of items include contributions to a producer recycling fund to ensure that waste electrical and electronic equipment is collected and recycled in a responsible manner.
You may request when ordering collection of a similar product for proper waste recycling when your new item is being delivered. Otherwise you may take it to a waste facility within your area for recycling anytime free of change. Remember, we MUST be informed at time of order (via email/phone etc) if you require collection of your old item. You may, however, still return the item to us for recycling within one month of purchase.

| Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be e-mailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. On average, 80% of orders are despatched and with the customer within 2 working days depending on your shipping choice. |
| Tax Charges For all orders 23% VAT is added except where a valid tax exemption number is given. Please note: if claiming VAT exemption we will need a copy of your Exemption Certificate from the Revenue Commissioners. If abroad, within the EU, and registered for VAT, we require your VAT registration number. We may require you to e-mail or fax a copy of your registration number. |
| Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted via an SSL secure site using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. |
| Guarantee We guarantee your satisfaction. Normal manufacturer's warranty will apply to faulty goods. If you are not happy with any product ordered we will issue a refund on receipt of the returned unopened product. A small restocking charge may apply (depending on manufacturer) - please see Returns Policy. |

Privacy Policy Micro Aid do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy We guarantee your satisfaction. If you are not happy with any product ordered we will issue a refund on receipt of the returned product. This must be within 7 working days of your receipt of the order; the product must be unopened and unused. Return freight/postage will be at customer's expense. A small restocking charge may apply (depending on manufacturer). This does not apply to faulty goods under warranty.
