Recently, my laptop failed and a family emergency required that I work from the family home. Previous experience with Micro Aid taught me that if I order something for next day delivery, it will be there – Printers mostly, almost always non-urgent. Wednesday night I used the chatbox to send Adrian a message, he called first thing Thursday, sent over 12 prospective replacements, with full specs and costs an hour later, and by 11 that morning the new laptop was chosen and ordered, which arrived less than 24 hours later.
I cannot underestimate the ability of having this service available – having IT items in stock, and not further afield pretending to be local. Whatsmore, the cost is very favourable to the online retailers, and even moreso to the big box retailers who have stock in store and appear to generally lower specced than what Micro Aid have available.“
